"I have no idea how this guy has good reviews. He refused to push corporate for a lower rate. In 18 years, he's only increased my rate. That's all the service he's provided me."

"Rick, we fully understand rate increase are frustrating. As we have discussed at every renewal, there is very little we can do at the Agent level other than look for discounts and coverage changes, which we have done for you. Unfortunately, there is no way to push or fight corporate to adjust your rates as they apply to everyone, including me and my team, based on broad economic factors such as weather, increasing accidents and cost of repair. This is exactly what the Corporate underwriter told you at your last renewal. We do everything in our power to provide the best service we can for all our policyholders."

"Cancelled my fully paid insurance policy after their underwriters could not verify that I had the immobilizer installed on my Hyundai although I sent proof. Punishing the customers for something out of their control is CRUEL. I've shown proof and contacted Hyundai (didn't seem like the underwriters attempted to) and confirmed that the anti-theft software was installed. Truly disgusting how they can treat people this way."

"Olivia, we can understand your frustration. Here, at the Agency level, we want to help everyone we can. Unfortunately, State Farm, along with most other carriers are restricting Kia's and Hyundai's that do not have the Push Start option (Passive Engine Immobilizer). Losses on these vehicles are up over 1800% and they are one of the largest segments of insured vehicles. We communicate this upfront with all our customers and while the manufacturers are trying to patch a fix, it is not reducing the risk.
